Notice to the Market - New Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer


Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica S.A. ("Taesa" or "Company"), based on § 4 of art. 157 of Act n. 6404/76 and on CVM Instruction n. 358/02, as amended by CVM Instructions n. 369/02 and n. 449/07, informs its shareholders and the market in general that, at the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on June 22, 2017, Mr. Luciano de Araujo Ferraz was removed from the position of Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer of the Company, effective on July 1, 2017, and Mr. Raul Lycurgo Leite was elected to hold said position, also effective on July 1, 2017. The mandate of the Company’s new Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer shall last until the first meeting of the Board of Directors to be called after the Company’s 2019 Annual Shareholders General Meeting.

Mr. Raul Lycurgo Leite has a Master’s degree in International Law from the American University - Washington College of Law, in Washington (USA), a graduate degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Tax Law and Policy and also in Economic and Business Law, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Centro de Ensino Unificado de Brasília (CEUB). He acted as Federal Attorney for the Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU) from 2002 to June 2017, when he left on leave. From 2002 to 2010 he worked in the Office of the General Counsel to the National Agency of Land Transportation (ANTT). From January 2011 to March 2015, he worked as Legal Adviser for the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC). On January 21, 2015 he was elected Chief Legal Officer of Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais ("Cemig"), holding such position until June 30, 2017.

Mr. Luciano de Araujo Ferraz was elected by Cemig’s Board of Directors to hold Cemig’s Chief Legal Officer position.
